How to Clean Marble?
How to Remove Stains on a Marble Table?
Identify the stain: Different stains require different cleaning methods. For example, acidic stains such as fruit juice or coffee may require a different approach than oil-based stains.
Wipe off the stain: Using a clean, soft cloth or paper towel, blot the stain as dry as possible. Do not rub or scrub the stain as this may spread or damage the marble.
Clean the surface: Use a mild marble cleaner or a mixture of warm water and a mild dishwashing detergent to clean the surface of the table. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that can damage the marble.
Apply a poultice: For stains that are embedded or deeply embedded, you may need to apply a poultice to remove the stain. A poultice is a paste made from a mixture of baking soda and water or a special marble stain remover. Apply the poultice to the stain, cover with plastic wrap and leave to dry for several hours or overnight. Then wipe off the poultice and rinse the area with warm water.
Polish the surface: After removing the stain, polish the surface of the table with a special marble polish or a mixture of baking soda and water. This will restore the shine and luster of the marble.
